the brief to design polycab’s new flagship store at lohar chawl in the year 2019 was to create a strong brand statement by establishing the fact that it’s a one-stop shop for all the electrical needs of a contractor, architect, interior designer or an end buyer. the retail journey had to reflect a fact that right from a cable, wire dbs/mcbs or conduits that are the basic backbone of any building - be it commercial or residential in terms of electrical supply – to switching on a light, lighting product and domestic home appliances, everything comes under the same roof.
